Sarah Kreager, who is white, suffered two broken bones in her left eye socket after nine teenagers, six black men and three black women attacked her when she tried to take a seat on a city bus.

I’m just a little pissed off here…how much do you want to bet? How much you wanna FUCKING bet we hear nothing of this by Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson or the Black Panthers on any of this shit…I thought they were all for letting women get seats on buses without persecution or discrimination?

As Sarah Kreager, 26, tried to sit down on a Baltimore City bus Tuesday, police say, a middle-schooler told her she couldn’t. When she attempted to take another seat, a middle-schooler wouldn’t let her. Finally, according to police, Kreager just sat down.

She was “immediately attacked” by nine students — three females and six males — from Robert Poole Middle School. They punched and kicked her at 2:59 p.m. at the intersection of 33rd Street and Chestnut Avenue, according to Maryland Transit Administration police.

Kreager was dragged off the bus and her boyfriend, Troy Ennis, attempted to get her back on, police said.

She sustained “serious injuries” and had to be transported to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, according to a police report.

Kreager suffered two broken bones in her left eye socket, police said.

“She had eye muscles that were damaged,” a police report states. “She had deep lacerations on the top of her head and another above her neck.”

Two seats and the bus’ rear glass were destroyed during the attack, police said.

The bus driver on the No. 27 line quickly called police, who responded and arrested the nine juveniles, said Jawauna Greene, an MTA police spokeswoman.

All nine suspects, ages 14 and 15, were arrested and charged with aggravated assault.

Their bus tickets — provided by the school — have been revoked, Greene said.

“Riding the bus is a privilege,” she said. “Public safety is our primary concern.”

Greene said the investigation into the incident was ongoing and she didn’t know whether the attack had anything to do with the victim’s race.

The suspects in the incident are black. The victim is white, according to the police report.

Baltimore resident David Briggs, who lives near the crime scene, said the incident underscores Baltimore’s pervasive crime.

“Now, I can’t even ride the bus,” he said.

Suicide Bomber King Put in Charge of IRGC

There’s a new man in charge of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Iran. His name is Brig. Gen. Mohammad Ali Jafari and he said recently that the IRGC will be switching its focus from conventional military tactics to an irregular combat strategy, which is “part of the precious experience we gained in the course of the Iraqi-imposed defensive war,” and that Iran is ready to respond to all possible threats from its enemies.

Let me tell you something about the new IRGC Commander Jafari. I have spoken about him twice in Bashman Vids in the last few months.

This man was put in charge of the "Lovers of Martyrdom Garrison" in Iran. They recruit suicide bombers via the local Iranian newspapers and also on the Internet, I kid you not. There is even a link to the online application, I highly recommend any of you left-wing liberals that visit this site download and fill out the app.

The vid was one of my most popular, entitled... "Lovers of Death".

In fact, I mentioned him a week ago in my "Mysteries of Iran..." vid at Pat Dollard Dot Com and this was just prior to him getting his new promotion. I'd be willing to bet that the Baagh-Lava was passed around plenty in the Jafari household this past week.

This "change" to "irregular combat readiness" that Jafari speaks of can NO DOUBT include the 50,000 plus suicide bombers Iran has recruited in the past couple of years.

And now they have their sights set on Iraq and the power vacuum that will occur when and if the US pulls out. They would move in and not treat the local Sunni insurgent uprisings as the Americans did. We tried like hell to avoid civilian casualties and our rules of engagement were basically those that a cop has.

Their "counter-insurgency" tactics Iran would use when invading Iraq would be brutal and fearsome. If they are allowed to get to that point.

A few wild cards are the Saudis, not just the sheiks, warlords, and tribal leaders who have faithfully backed Sunni insurgency groups in Iraq in the past due to ancient tribal ties, but also the Saudi Govt themselves. RE:Their recent purchases.

Then there's Israel. Can anyone say "Osirik" as a big bite in the ass? Turn the Dragon's head and he exposes his jugular.

The Director of National Intelligence has released the latest National Intelligence Estimate (NIE) on Iraq, entitled “Prospect’s For Iraq’s Stability: Some Security Progress but Political Reconciliation Elusive.” The last NIE on Iraq was released in January of this year.

After a first read through, the gist I'm getting is that the Surge is working but the political landscape is a disaster with no viable positive outlook in the foreseeable future. Nothing new there.

Mookie's Shia guys are being backed by Quds/IRGC and so therefore, ultimately, the Iranian Theocracy.

The individual Sunni groups get their support from various warlords, sheiks, and tribal leaders in Suadi Arabia.

The Badr Organization has been away for 25 years and have much bad blood with their countrymen, especially Sunni, they returned to due to the Iran/Iraq war, plus they're nutty as fruitcakes like the rest of them.

The Kurd thing with Turkey and Iran and their fellow Shia and Sunni Iraqis is like is a powder keg, that's been a powder keg since any of us can remember.

Doesn't seem like the individual political interests in Iraq, which cannot be separated from their religious-sectarian interests are unwilling to compromise on anything major, prohibiting any kind of reconciliation.

And the leaders in the actual Iraqi National Government itself are like Freshman high school football players trying to coach the Super Bowl.

If all of these players, Mookie's Shia, the Badr Shia, the dozens of Sunni tribes, the Kurds, AQI, and a few other unmentionables were pit bulls and Iraq was an arena...Michael Vick's mouth would be watering.

THE MYSTERIES OF IRAN AND DAVID LYNCH

Here we go again with all the Iranian half-speak and veiled threats. Does anyone else get the feeling that we’re watching a David Lynch flick? I mean, as in a Lynch film, some of the vainglorious hoity-toity that spews forth from Tehran sounds almost like normal words, spoken by relatively quirky characters. But when put in the context of their setting, these words leave one scratching one’s head and thinking “What the hell are they really saying here?”

It's no secret that the United States is planning to list the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist group. The only question has been whether or not to list just the subset elite Quds Force, or the whole damned lot of them. They’ve been around a while. Born during the Islamic revolution in Tehran in 1979, the IRGC is a 200,000-strong elite force separate from Iran's regular military, with its own ground, naval, air, and intelligence units.

It’s about time. These are, for lack of a better term, sneaky pukes.

The Ayatollah Khomeini loved them.

That ought to be a red flag, right there.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad rose through its ranks.

Strike two.

And now…

Under executive order 13224, which was established shortly after the September 11th attacks, the United States will probably list the IRGC as a terrorist group in order to disrupt their international business and financial dealings. It is believed that a lot of the illegal smuggling of arms and technologies into Iran, especially those aiding Iran in developing their nuclear weapons program are done by many of the “front” businesses run by the IRGC.

It is also believed, and evidence is not in short supply to corroborate the fact that, the IRGC, and more specifically its smaller internal division known as the Quds Force, is responsible for smuggling arms and personnel into Iraq for the sole purpose of killing American Military personnel. Not only that, but they regularly cross the border into Iraq to train Shia extremists.

Strike three, pal.

In a defiant response, the banty rooster of the IRGC, General Yahya Rahim Safavi was quoted as saying in the conservative daily Kayhan last week "America will receive a heavier punch from the guards in the future. We will never remain silent in the face of U.S. pressure and we will use our leverage against them."

Hmmm… “punch”?...“leverage”?

What exactly does he mean when he uses these words?

He did not elaborate. That would be too clear. What the world needs today is not clarity, but more Lynchian mystery.

So in keeping with the Lynch mob, let’s let the fog swirl up around our feet and wait for the little guy to come dancing into the Red Room we now find ourselves in, speaking in backwards riddles and distracting us with his left hand while his right fumbles around in the shadows, grasping at something we cannot see, but are, for some unknown reason, filled with dread about.

The little guy snaps his fingers and we find ourselves sitting amongst thousands of people who are listening to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmahdinejad speak. The smell of body odor and stale coffee breath invade our nostrils. The gag reflex rears its foul facade. The Banner behind Ahmahdinejad says “World Without Zionism Conference”…it is October 2005.

Ahmahdinejad speaks and quotes his beloved Ayatollah from years gone by and says that he wants to see Israel wiped off the map.

The fog swirls and now we are back in the Red Room. The little guy twitches and shakes, “No, no, no, no, that is not what he said. He has been mistranslated.”

“What did he say then?” we ask.

“He said he wanted to see the Israeli Regime ‘wiped from the pages of history’.” They little man dances a jig, and smiles up at a corner in the ceiling.

“Oh,” we exclaim, “He wants to see the Israeli Regime wiped from the pages of history?”

Pondering the Iranian Theocracy's methods over the previous quarter century, questions arise. Questions like: “How will that transpire?” and “How do they plan to see this desire become reality?”

But the little guy just lays his finger aside of his nose and disappears.

Now a scraggly man in a tattered denim jacket glares at us from the corner and says “Read what the leader of the Lovers of Martyrdom Brigades has said.”

And the mist swirls again, and just like that, we’re back home.

The Lovers of Martyrdom Brigades. That sounds so familiar…

Just when memory begins to dodge, a strange, gypsy-like woman knocks on the door, and before we can invite her in, she belts out “The Lovers of Martyrdom! A militia! Suicide bombers recruited by…the Iranian Theocracy!”

In the blink of an eye she produces a worn and stained business card, hands it to me, and is gone into the night. The card appears to be a picture and a quote. A quote from a strange bespectacled man named Sardar Mohammad-Reza Jaafari. I remember that this Jafaari guy was a senior leader in the IRGC, now put in charge of this Lovers of Martyrdom Brigades, which, incidentally, recruits in the local Iranian newspaper and on the Internet.

Curiouser.

Jafaari’s quote reads: “The Imam [Ayatollah Khomeini] said years ago that Israel must be wiped from the pages of history, but so far practical steps have not been taken to achieve this. Our garrison must find, recruit, organize and train martyrdom-seeking individuals to materialize this objective.”

Ah yes! Khomeini. The Ayatollah Khomeini. Such a nice, peaceful fellow.

Materialize this objective?

More half-speak from Iran?

Well, lets see, when the commander of the “Lovers of Martyrdom Brigade” a man in charge of over 50,000 Iranians on stand-by to load up their vests and detonate themselves wherever and whenever the Iranian Theocracy deems necessary, says practical steps need to be taken to wipe the Israeli regime from the pages of history, do we really think he means peaceful protests in the streets of Tehran?

Iranian half-speak? Riddles? Half-truths? Bad coffee?

When the IRGC says they have “leverage” what do they mean?

When the IRGC says America will receive a greater “punch” what do they mean?

What are they really saying?

And what kind of trees are those, Harry?

Being a seasoned David Lynch fanatic, I can tell you that the best way to figure this whole mystery out, is very simple…

IRAQ REPORT: ON THE OFFENSIVE IN THE BELTS

Iraqi and Coalition forces remain on the offensive in the Baghdad Belts of eastern Anbar province, northern Babil and Diyala, as the bulk of the major suicide and bombing attacks have shifted to the northern regions of Iraq. Kirkuk has seen a massive suicide attack during the past week, while insurgents targeted two bridges in western Anbar province, where U.S. and Iraqi forces have launched a multi-brigade operation.

Diyala

Arrowhead Ripper in the provincial capital of Baqubah has now expanded into the eastern sector of the city, called Old Baqubah. The eastern portion of Baqubah has been cordoned, and Iraqi and U.S. forces are conducting "a deliberate, house-to-house search there for al-Qaida operatives." Multinational Forces Iraq reported that 67 insurgents have been killed, 253 captured and 151 improvised explosive devices and 24 booby-trapped buildings have been dismantled since Arrowhead Ripper began in Baqubah.

Iraq's Ministry of Defense reported 67 insurgents have been killed and 50 captured during ongoing operations throughout Diyala province.

Al Qaeda continues to strike in the rural regions of Baqubah. On July 17, an assault on the town of Duwailiyah resulted in 29 civilians killed and four wounded. Al Qaeda fighters attacked while wearing military-styled uniforms, killing women and children. Several Kurdish villages along the Iranian border have been hit in similar assaults over the past month, and al Qaeda has conducted mass casualty suicide attacks in an effort to stir up sectarian violence. Elements of the Kurdish Regional Guards, which are the Kurdish provincial security forces, are deploying to the northern regions of Diyala in an attempt to curb attacks in the area.

North

The provinces of Salahadin, Tamin, and Niwena have seen an increase in activity since the launch of the Baghdad Security Plan and Operation Phantom Thunder in the Belts. Al Qaeda and allied insurgent groups are believed to be stepping up operations in the region as their traditional safe havens in Baghdad and the Belts are under assault.

In the wake of a mass casualty suicide attack in the city of Kirkuk, which killed over 80 and wounded hundreds, Iraqi and U.S. security forces have launched operations in the north. On July 17, Iraqi police arrested 28 suspects in southern and eastern Kirkuk. Twenty-one of those arrested are said to have come from outside the province.

Al Qaeda's network in Mosul has received special attention from Iraqi and Coalition forces of late. Khalid Al Mashadani, the senior-most Iraqi leader in al Qaeda and the founder of the Islamic State of Iraq, al Qaeda's political front, was arrested in Mosul on July 4. On July 17, Coalition forces captured three more al Qaeda operatives in Mosul, one "who is believed to have been promoted within the organization after recent Coalition operations created numerous vacancies in the terrorist leadership structure."The government is looking to augment security forces in the north, and has turned to the Kurdish Regional Government for assistance.

The Kurdish Regional Government has promised the Defense Ministry 6,000 members of the Kurdish Regional Guards to protect oil and electric infrastructure between Kirkuk and Baji. The planned movement of forces is awaiting the approval of Iraq’s prime minister.

Babil

Operation Marne Avalanche kicked off in the Iskandariyah region southwest of Baghdad several days ago. This region, known as the Triangle of Death, is a battleground between Sunni and Shia insurgents. On July 16, U.S. forces conducted two raids in Haswah and Jabella. The Haswah raid netted eight members of an IED cell, including its leader, as well as a mobile IED factory. The Jabella raid, which was conducted with a battalion of Iraqi soldiers, targeted the Mahdi Army. No arrests were reported but the Iraqi Army set up an outpost in the town.

In Arab Jabour to the east, an al Qaeda meeting was hit with Excalibur precision-guided artillery shells. The strike killed “the top target for al Qaeda in Iraq south of Baghdad.” The al Qaeda commander was “responsible for improvised explosive devices, vehicle-borne IED and indirect fire attacks on Coalition Forces in Arab Jabour.”

Anbar

Iraqi troops and U.S. Marines continue to pressure al Qaeda and Sunni insurgent groups throughout Anbar province. On July 15, over 9,000 U.S Marines, Soldiers, and Sailors, and Iraqi Army members launched Operation Matwani in the western expanses of the Euphrates River Valley. The goal of Matwani is "to neutralize any future attempts by Anti-Iraqi Forces to re-establish a presence in key urban areas along the Euphrates River valley." On July 3, one such al Qaeda team attempted to strike in Ramadi, but was routed south of the city by Coalition airpower and Iraqi ground forces.

In the Triad region of Haditha, Haqlanniyah, and Barwana, insurgents attacked two bridges in Udasiyah and Haqlanniyah with car bombs. While Voices of Iraq reported the bridges were destroyed, 1st Lt. Shawn Mercer, the Deputy Public Affairs Officer for Multinational Forces West informed us the bridges were damaged. "MNF-W forces and Baghdadi Police discovered one bridge had been attacked approximately 7 km northwest of Udasiyah at 8:20 pm July 18," Mercer said in an email. "Another Marine unit reported a second bridge attacked 5 km west of Haqlaniyah at 9:30 pm. Both bridges were rendered impassable, cordoned off and bypasses prepared. Scattered vehicle parts indicated truck bombs were used in an attempt to destroy the bridges. There were no sign or reports of casualties in the attacks.

Engineering assessment teams are in the process of determining the damage to the structures and repair plans." Al Qaeda in Iraq has destroyed bridges in Baghdad and along the rivers north in anticipation of Coalition and Iraq operations.

Elsewhere in Anbar, the provincial government has met with provincial officials in neighboring Karbala, and agreed to form a joint security committee. "We agreed on securing the international highway to ensure safety of the passengers including pilgrims and visitors of holy shrines in the province, determining boundaries of security responsibility and areas of joint patrols, and securing the area of Kilometer 160 which lies on the highway between Iraq and Jordan," the governor of Karbala told Voices of Iraq. "We also agreed on the necessity of securing the area near Razazah Lake (150 km west of Karbala), exchange intelligence tips, establishing a hotline between the two sides in both operation rooms, reporting any operations within the borders between the two provinces to take the necessary measures, and assist in evacuating bodies of the killed within the geographical boundaries of Anbar province."

Al Qaeda

U.S. Special Forces continues the hunt for al Qaeda’s senior leadership cells, facilitators and operatives. Multinational Forces Iraq confirmed that Ahmed Sancar, also known as Khattab al-Turki, “a known terrorist and senior leader in al-Qaeda and a key financier and facilitator for the terrorist group,” was killed during a raid on June 23. Khattab al-Turki held several key positions in al Qaeda, and was planning to conduct attacks in the Kurdish north.Khattab al-Turki, was an associate of Turkish al Qaeda members Mehmet Yilmaz and Mehmet Resit Isik, who were killed during the same raid. “Yilmaz was a close associate of Khalid Shayikh Muhammad, the mastermind behind the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon,” Multinational Forces Iraq stated. “Yilmaz also led a group of Turks to Afghanistan in 2001 to fight against Coalition Forces.”

Special Forces captured 12 al Qaeda operatives during raids in Baghdad, Taji, Fallujah, and Ramadi on July 18 and 19. Raids in Tarmiyah resulted in three al Qaeda operatives killed and two captured on July 17. In Qayyarah, Iraqi troops captured the emir of the town along with three associates during a raid on July 15.

Sadr and the Special Groups

The Sadrist Movement has ended its self-imposed political exile and canceled its boycott of the Parliament. Sadr’s bloc of 20 representatives ended its one-month absence from Parliament on Wednesday, while the Sunni political bloc ended their boycott today. Muqtada al Sadr is currently in Iran after leaving the country earlier this month. This is Sadr’s second trip to Iran this year, the prior trip last over four months.Meanwhile, Coalition and Iraqi forces continue to dismantle the Iranian-backed “Special Groups” of the rogue Mahdi Army. A raid in the Amil neighborhood in Baghdad resulted in the capture of three members of the Special Groups “suspected of facilitating the flow of Explosively Formed Projectiles (EFPs) and other lethal aide into Iraq from Iran.” Also, Multinational Forces Iraq confirmed it captured Sheikh Mohammad Hassan Sbahi Al Khafaji, a key leader of the Mahdi Army with close links to Iran’s Qods Force, along with five associates on June 28 in Nasiriyah.

WASHINGTON (AP) - The Pentagon told Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Rodham Clinton that her questions about how the U.S. plans to eventually withdraw from Iraq boosts enemy propaganda.

In a stinging rebuke to a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, Undersecretary of Defense Eric Edelman responded to questions Clinton raised in May in which she urged the Pentagon to start planning now for the withdrawal of American forces.

A copy of Edelman’s response, dated July 16, was obtained Thursday by The Associated Press.
“Premature and public discussion of the withdrawal of U.S. forces from Iraq reinforces enemy propaganda that the United States will abandon its allies in Iraq, much as we are perceived to have done in Vietnam, Lebanon and Somalia,” Edelman wrote.

He added that “such talk understandably unnerves the very same Iraqi allies we are asking to assume enormous personal risks.”

Clinton spokesman Philippe Reines called Edelman’s answer “at once outrageous and dangerous,” and said the senator would respond to his boss, Defense Secretary Robert Gates.
Clinton has privately and publicly pushed Gates and Joint Chiefs Chairman Peter Pace two months ago to begin drafting the plans for what she said will be a complicated withdrawal of troops, trucks and equipment.

“If we’re not planning for it, it will be difficult to execute it in a safe and efficacious way,” she said then.

The strong wording of the response is unusual, particularly for a missive to a member of the Senate committee with oversight of the Defense Department and its budget.

Edelman is the Undersecretary of defense for policy. He is also a former U.S. ambassador and one-time aide to Vice President Dick Cheney. During the 2004 campaign, Cheney told Iowa voters that electing the Democratic ticket of John Kerry and John Edwards would risk another terrorist attack.
